“16F 553” is a light sculpture that relates to the interior of the architecture of the Tschumipavilion by Bernard Tschumi, by means of LED lightning and kinetic means. In the same way as in Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's kinetic installations, the space in '16_'553' is manipulated by light. '16_'553' is a modular structure of three frames of 2 by 2 m. holding a matrix of 125 LED modules which open and close. This means that the LED modules alternate between light and darkness, resulting in a play of transparency and reflection in the Tschumipavilion.
