by Aafke Weller

Aafke Weller locks herself up in the Tschumipavilion and on the glass walls she draws the activity that takes place on and around the Hereplein. Space and time coincide in a drawing that slowly fills up the space as the time passes. As the artist is locked in the pavilion, performer and spectator are separated by the glass walls. In this performance the border between private and public space is searched for as well as being explored. Aafke Weller is in her third year of study at the Minerva Academy. Trying to capture the environment is a theme that often reappears in her work.
