In the pavilion, a couple of thousand bottles are placed on shelves. An invisible infrared signal beams over the pavement, at right angles to the pavilion. In the aisle of the pavilion a small computer controlled cart is waiting for a signal. Three large glowing numbers will start moving as in a jackpot, every time a passer-by passes the infrared beam. In case of three equal numbers, the cart starts rolling and stops somewhere, after which a piston pushes a couple of bottles from the shelf. After two months, all bottles will have ended up on the floor of the Tschumipavilion. Glass Works Gallery 4 august – 15 october 2007, a project by Kris Vleeschouwer.
