by Marcel de Vries

Waanzin productions, which is a cooperation between Gerard Eikelboom and Marcel de Vries set up the project ”Wis je dat” in the Tschumi pavilion from the 17th of June onwards. More than fifty programmed windscreen wipers were installed. With these ready mades a semi interactive, kinetic sculpture was realised. The windscreen wipers were programmed and therefore they moved autonomously, but also interacted with passing audience. The first week Gerard Eikelboom and Marcel de Vries used the pavilion as public working space in which the audience could enter to ask questions about the project. From the 26th of june onwards “Wis je dat” functioned as a new creation of Waanzin Productions.
